Support Groups at Insula Collective

Since our beginning, we have facilitated more than 70 support groups, both in person and online, created exclusively for BIPOC-identifying individuals. These gatherings are spaces to exhale, connect, and be seen, rooted in the belief that healing happens in community. Each 90-minute session offers an intimate setting for meaningful conversation and shared reflection. With a maximum of 15 participants, everyone has the opportunity to speak, listen, and feel supported. We open with grounding guidelines and check-ins, then move through guided topics that explore the complexities of life, identity, and mental well-being. We close together with affirmations, poetry, or creative reflection, reminders of our collective strength and the power of shared stories. Every gathering ends with a gentle call to carry what you have gained back into your daily life and community.
